Today, I want to share my favorite self-improvement workbooks that I love using or want to purchase soon.
I think self-improvement workbooks are a great tool for those of us who are on the personal development journey. Some of these books can be very light and full of positive quotes and affirmations. And some of them a very deep that help us battle our fears or even traumas.
Why use self-development workbooks?
There are many reasons to use self-improvement books. You can use the workbooks as a helpful addition to the self-development books you’re reading or you can use them on their own, as well. I personally love self-development workbooks for the following reasons:
- They usually have a timeline or a deadline
- They are well structured
- They are supposed to solve a problem or find a solution
- They help generate new ideas
- And they provide with a great support for personal development
My favorite self-improvement workbooks
1| I Love Being Sensitive: A guided affirmation journal & workbook for Artists & empaths on the path toward higher creativity, self-love, and abundance. This is a good workbook full of affirmations. The book is created by one of my favorite YouTubers and an amazing artist Shayna Klee aka Purple Palace. This workbook is created for 2 weeks of daily practice. It definitely can bring positivity and light to your life.
2| 369 Manifesting Journal: A 93-Day Guided Workbook. Great workbook for those who want to start their manifestation journey or become better at manifesting.
3| Five Year Journal. What a great concept, isn’t it? I think it’s a good workbook for those who love reflection, creating memories, and self-development in general. Being able to browse through the pages after 5 years and see how much you’ve grown sounds really great.
4| Good Days Start With Gratitude. Gratitude is a big part of my spiritual work and I think having a special journal for gratitude only will make this practice extra special.
5| The Artist’s Way Workbook. A favorite book of many people “The artist’s way” also has a workbook. I think it is a nice edition to the main book and will help you to ensure that the knowledge you received from the book is actually used.
6| Do It for Yourself. This is a fun and colorful book to help you start your new journey or push you in the right direction. I really love that it’s so bright and covers important topics.
7| The Five-Minute Journal. It’s an easy concept for busy people or those who are not familiar with writing and reflection. I highly recommend it to those who can’t find the extra time or don’t feel comfortable sitting and writing for a long time.
8| Self-Love Workbook for Women. Having a special workbook for women only is important. Women in general go through so many challenges and experience many traumas and stigmatization from a very early age. So working on your healing as a female is very important and this workbook can be a great start.
9| The Shadow Work Journal. Shadow work is also an important part of my practice. It helped me to work on my fears, certain traumas, and insecurities. I highly recommend this journal, especially for those who are new to shadow work.
And per usual, I have a bonus recommendation
10| The Altar within. This book is more on the spiritual and magic side. But I think it’s a great workbook for those who do reflection and shadow work.
